One More Week...

OK, updates since last post... I'm almost done with my class. Gave presentation last Friday. Have paper due this week. That's pretty much made me socially nonexistent the past two weeks, with a few exceptions. Oh, one of the exceptions was a little Virginia vineyard tour I did last Saturday.

We're also hard at work at work. I got two projects going on. The first I can't talk about. It's top secret, but might be wrapping up. The second was publicly unveiled this week (or was it the previous week?). It's a new website about renewable and cogeneration power plants that I wrote. Takee a look. There's a menu on the right that takes you to all of the eight subpages (lest you think I only wrote one silly little page).

Got quote for having rug cleaned... $200. Four times the price of the rug. But still I think that $250 for a good rug is pretty good.

Went to a concert at the 9:30 Club on Friday. Antibalas Afrobeat Orchestra. They rocked out. Go to iTunes right now and buy you some Antibalas. Who Is This America? is the disc I just bought. If you want some individual songs, try you some Big Man or Indictment or Who Is This America Dem Speak of Today.

Then, whoever it was that recommended A Life Less Ordinary is now out of my will. Luckily for them, I can't remember who it is.

Looking ahead... I finish this class when I email my paper Friday. Then I have to start being very serious about finding me an apartment. Also have to start preparing to take me the GRE so I can actually apply to this program that I'm pretending to be in at the moment. I also fully intend to run my first triathlon in at least a few years this fall, so gotta start preparing for that.
