Good week. Illinois beat Wisconsin on Tuesday (although those fuckers lost to Penn State on Saturday AT HOME for the first time since January 10, 2004!). New QF rules went out on Thursday. Had class on Friday afternoon. My prof told me in a stern voice to "see him after class." I was kinda worried that maybe I had accidentally plagiarized my latest paper or something. Really he just wanted to tell me that he liked my paper and to try to convince me to apply for a real grad program rather than just taking classes. That was kind of nice of him... I was flattered. Although maybe he just wants my money. Saw Walk the Line with Kai on Friday evening, after drinking coffee on the waterfront in Alexandria. We fed some seagulls and caused quite a stir when a million birds were swooping all around us. Watched Ask This Old House and checked out swanky new bar called Gallery in Silver Spring on Saturday. Went to Super Bowl party with Mike and Michelle Sunday. Won about $20 in some kind of Super Bowl pool that I didn't even understand and that I borrowed money from Mike to participate in.
That's about it. I still have my cough. They say everyone has it, but I haven't seen anyone else coughing like this. It's pissing me off and cramping my swimming and running big time.
Got a really cute email from my little sis thanking me for sending her the March of the Penguins DVD. It said she wrote it all by herself... I'm suspicious.
